What is “The Listeners”?
The Listeners is a space where you can talk freely, without being interrupted, judged, or given advice.
We offer 20-minute sessions of active, human listening. No agenda. No pressure. Just someone who gives you their full attention.
We are not therapists, counselors, or coaches. We don’t diagnose, treat, or give solutions. We simply listen.
Whether you’re feeling lonely, overwhelmed, or just need to think out loud, we’re here to hear you.
Is this therapy?
No. The Listeners is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.
We do not:

- Offer treatment plans or coping strategies
If you are in crisis, experiencing severe distress, or need professional support, we kindly encourage you to reach out to a licensed therapist or a crisis helpline. We can point you to trusted resources.
What we offer is simple: a compassionate, non-judgmental ear for when you need to be heard.
What can I talk about?
Anything you want. Or nothing at all.
You can talk about:
- How your day went
- Things that are on your mind
- Feelings you haven’t shared with anyone
- Ideas you’re processing
- Or just sit in silence if that’s what you need
There’s no script, no right or wrong topic, and no expectation to “perform.” You lead the conversation. We follow with presence and attention.

- We will kindly pause the conversation.
- We will end the session if the topic persists or makes us feel unsafe.
- We reserve the right to contact authorities if we believe there is a serious risk to anyone’s safety.
This policy exists to protect you, our listeners, and our community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
